When do all six daily selections change?

Daily uses the date in America/New_York and changes at midnight there. That is Eastern Standard Time in winter and Eastern Daylight Time in summer. Players opening the same game and daily date receive the same original selection, wherever they live.

Each game selects from its own authored bank. A new Daily date means a newly selected challenge; it is not a promise that every clue or grid has never appeared in an earlier practice session. This is our schedule, separate from the official NYT release schedule.

Choose the right kind of daily challenge

Return to a game or compare with a friend

When local storage is available, progress and completed results stay in this browser. Return through the same game page to continue. A private browsing session, another device or cleared site data has a separate record.

After finishing, copy the result and exact-puzzle challenge link. A friend can play the same pack or board. Compare the relevant solves, mistakes, checks, reveals and hints alongside time; an assisted result is different from an unaided attempt. Shared URL scores are personal reports, not a verified public leaderboard.

Replay a date or keep exploring

The original puzzle library can reconstruct a date’s six selections using the current library schedule or find a specific theme. Earlier dates are replay selections, not a claim that those puzzles were publicly released on that date.

For more of one format, visit all six Unlimited games. For a smaller curated set across the collection, choose the weekly puzzle table, which rotates through the authored selections.
